We are Trish and Julie, sisters born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Our lives were simple. We married brothers, raised nine children between us and continued to live next door to one another. We’ve been active in our parish and family lives. Life as we knew it included looking for creative ways to thank the many teachers in our children’s lives, and ways to give back to our church and community.

But one day, a canister of caramels entered our lives. In minutes, the caramels were gone. Soon, a recipe was shared, and then, a new hobby was born. In the last decade, we have shared our one-of-a-kind caramels with thousands of people, people who inevitably became “Hooked on Caramel.” With the encouragement (and a lot of pleading) from family and freinds, we turned our hobby into a business.
